This illustration was created with a lead pencil and the ornate facial makeup was applied with Faber Castel color pencils. The skulls, nestled in a cluster of flower petals, display a range of emotions, each one unique and evocative. Some skulls are caught in fits of laughter, their eye sockets crinkled with joy. Others shed tears, their hollow eyes conveying a deep sense of sorrow. A pair of skulls is locked in a passionate kiss, fear, anger, and sorrow are other emotions that can be seen in the compostion. The skulls' facial makeup displays intricate designs, vibrant shades, and ornate patterns.
